专业概况

在这里学什么？ Creative Music Technology at Swansea College of Art UWTSD is a practice, studio-based programme, focussing on digital creativity and content creation.The course gives students the opportunity to compose, create and collaborate in a wide range of media applications. Students will engage in studio composition, sound design and production for TV and Film, animation, computer games audio design, music video, broadcast, performance and sound engineering.The department is a pioneer in innovative teaching and learning practice. We operate the “connected campus studios” where students and staff can collaborate, record and perform High Definition audio exchange between studios, at home or on campus, in real-time through a combination of remote login and cloud-based audio-packet streaming.In this way, students have access to specialist facilities to record performers, artists and musicians in-house, or remotely from any studio in the world.Graduates from the programme are well prepared for all aspects of this massive subject, and as a result, are highly employable across the Digital Media and Creative Industries sector. The department is lucky to have the Swansea Laptop Orchestra in residence at the studios.
