Course Overview

This course offer a wide range of skills and knowledge for those wishing to work with children and / or young people in a wide range of roles. It is not only an excellent starting point for those unsure of their employment goals within the sector, but can open doors in employment which last throughout your career.

You will need an employment or volunteer placement to study on this programme, giving you the opportunity to work within the children and / or young person sector.

The Health Porfolio programmes are purposely integrated to allow flexible entry and exit between pathways. At the end of each year you are able to progress onto a different programme if your career choices or employment opportunities change.

Career Opportunities

We have a very strong employment support and work experience system within the Health Portfolio. We work with three health boards as well as a variety of public and private organisations, companies and charities in the Health Sector across Wales to provide both employment and volunteer opportunities for all Health Portfolio students.
