Management focuses on coordinating and overseeing the human, organizational and capital resources of a firm in a strategic manner to enhance organizational competitiveness. This option within the business administration major is an excellent option for students who see themselves as “big picture people” and business generalists.

In the Paul College of Business and Economics business administration major management option you’ll build your problem-solving, planning and interpersonal skills related to leadership in the new economy, and you’ll learn to manage innovation and change and international cross-cultural issues in business. Program Objectives

The Option in Management provides students with opportunities to develop a substantial foundation in the principles of managing the human, organizational, technical, and financial resources of organizations to enhance strategic competitiveness. Courses emphasize critical thinking, problem-solving, planning, interpersonal skills related to ethical leadership in the global economy, managing innovation and technology, organizational change and sustainability, and international and cross-cultural issues in organizations.

The option emphasizes the generalist's mindset in concert with a specialist's functional understanding of the firm. This is an excellent option for students who see themselves as "big picture" people. Future career paths include an array of management, supervisory, entrepreneurial, human resources, and other positions in for-profit and non-profit organizations. The option is also recommended for students considering graduate education in management or law.

为来自中国的学生设计 Admission to UNH is competitive. A student’s academic record, including program of study, class rigor, standing in their class, and achievement is of primary importance in assessing a student’s potential for success at UNH. Students should complete the following sequences of college preparatory coursework to be considered minimally qualified for baccalaureate admission to the University: Demonstrated proficiency in English, Three years of mathematics, Three years of science, Three years of social sciences and Two years of a single foreign language (If English is your first language). International students, whose primary language is not English, must submit the results of a Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), or Duolingo. The recommended minimum TOEFL score is 213 (computer version) or 550 (paper version) or 80 (Internet version). The minimum IELTS acceptable proficiency grade is 6.5. The minimum Duolingo scores are 70.
