专业概况

As we do more business online, our economy is changing. We face daily challenges and opportunities at the intersection of new digital technologies, new business models, and the regulatory and legal landscape. This commerce and technology master’s degree, supported by UNH Law's strong intellectual property (IP) foundation, is designed for students who don’t hold a law degree but are interested in the intersection of information technology, business, and law. Expert faculty tackle current events and rapidly-developing areas such as new payment systems and the handling of consumers’ private information. This master’s program is a great fit for domestic and foreign professionals working in today’s evolving digital and data-driven economy.

With our renowned intellectual property law curriculum as a foundation, UNH Law has expanded its comprehensive reach to include commerce and technology as a separate concentration. UNH Law and the Franklin Pierce Center for Intellectual Property are longstanding leaders in intellectual property law, ranked No. 5 for IP law by U.S. News & World Report, and ranking among the Top 10 in the country for more than two decades. You’ll work with highly experienced faculty and enjoy access to a global network of influential practitioners in this 12-month full-time residential program.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Supported by UNH Law's strong IP foundation, the Commerce and Technology program is built at the intersection of business and law to tackle evolving legal issues facing new business and e-commerce in the global information age economy.

Expert faculty tailor courses to current events and developments, and the program offers flexibility to match the career objectives of each individual student. Course work addresses rapidly-developing areas of the law, such as cybercrime and consumers’ private information.
