专业概况

在这里学什么？

Focuses on three specializations: transportation engineering (traffic engineering, physical design and operational aspects of transportation systems), transportation planning (analysis and planning, and the integration of transportation systems with urban and regional considerations), and advanced transportation systems and technologies (the use of emerging technologies such as intelligent transportation systems in planning, designing and operating multi- and inter-modal transportation systems).

Program Objectives

Prepares students to be transportation planners, engineers, and managers who can plan, design, operate and manage transportation systems capable of satisfying society's transportation needs.

Learning Outcomes

Students in the MS Transportation Master's Degree Program will learn a wide range of leadership and management skills in addition to the following skills: Urban transportation planning; Transportation economics; Urban systems engineering; Management science; Traffic studies and capacity; Traffic control; Public transportation operations and technology.
