The three-summer Master of Music Education (MME) is a new practice-oriented degree featuring core courses in music pedagogy, music theory, musicianship, and musicology. Students can target specific areas for personal growth with specialized and electives courses offered on a rotating basis that draw upon the unique scholarship expertise of the CCM Music Education faculty. The program includes an exciting opportunity for an optional study abroad experience as well as the chance to enroll in Orff-Schulwerk training workshops as degree electives.

Geared toward regional music teachers who want to remain active in the classroom while continuing their education, the program improves music mastery through high-quality yet specialized coursework, and the efficient and effective delivery of music teaching content matter. The practical degree program can be completed in three summers.

The MME degree is designed for practicing teachers who already have a Bachelor of Music or Bachelor of Music Education degree and a minimum of two years of teaching experience. More experienced teachers will also benefit from the program. Graduates can advance their careers and potentially find new teaching opportunities.

CCM is a college within the University of Cincinnati, a major undergraduate university and graduate research institution of more than 40,000 students. The synergy created by housing CCM within a comprehensive public university gives the college its unique character and defines its objective: to educate and inspire the whole artist and scholar for positions on the world's stage.

为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants must have: An active and unrestricted RN license; Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree conferred from a regionally and ACEN (formerly NLNAC) or CCNE accredited institution; Completion of an undergraduate statistics course with a grade of “C” or better; A minimum of one year of RN experience (preferably in labor and delivery).
