专业概况

As part of GW’s nationally ranked speech-language pathology graduate program, students receive in-depth education on all aspects of communication and hands-on experience evaluating patients and administering therapy treatments. The program is fully accredited by the Council of Academic Programs in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. Part of the social and behavioral sciences discipline in the Columbian College of Arts and Sciences, the program provides full insight into communication, including the consequences and rehabilitation of communication disorders for individuals and society.

The master’s program for students with a B.A. in speech-language pathology includes two years of intensive full-time study. Learning environments encompass traditional classroom instruction and clinical education with mentors in the GW Speech and Hearing Center.

为来自中国的学生设计 To be eligible for admission, applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Applicants who have earned their degrees outside of the US must hold degrees from institutions in compliance with their national standards. Academic IELTS: an overall band score of 6.0 with no individual score below 5.0; or TOEFL: 550 on paper-based or 80 on Internet-based test; or PTE Academic: 53.
