在这里学什么？ Surrey is one of the UK's leading universities for electrical and electronic engineering, with our courses ranked 3rd in the Guardian University Guide 2019 and top ten in The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2018.Our innovative BEng Electronic Engineering with Nanotechnology **(with Foundation Year)** programme will allow you to apply theory to real engineering problems and technologies, combining professional engineering skills with scientific research methods.Whether you are interested in graphene, integrated circuits or quantum engineering, our course will give you the specialist skills at the interface of electronics and physics required to work on modern nanoscale device fabrication.After a firm grounding in electrical science and electronics, you will learn about quantum science and nanotechnology, power and energy efficient electronic devices, and production and characterisation of nanomaterials such as graphene, and quantum engineering.You will also have opportunities to collaborate with academics in our Advanced Technology Institute through project work.We’re always looking to make it easier to access the education we offer, so we have launched the option of taking a degree with a foundation year.A foundation year is an extra year of study at the start of your course that leads in to a full degree programme. It’s a great option if:• You don’t have the grades for a full degree course• You have non-traditional qualifications or experience• You’re starting university after some time away from education• You’re looking for more support during the transition into university study.During a foundation year you’ll learn about your chosen subject, develop your study skills and get used to university life. On successful completion of your foundation year, you’ll be ready to progress to the first year of your degree course.As a foundation year student, you’ll be a full student of the University and part of our community. You’ll have access to all our campus facilities and support.
