在这里学什么？The MFA is a flexible, practice-based program, offering students opportunities to develop a studio practice in one medium as well as the opportunity to work across multiple mediums. We support students working in practice-based methodologies and working across theory and practice.
Past research topics include:
Successful applicants to the MFA program typically have a BFA degree with advanced courses in the studio area to which they are applying, a demonstrated interest in continuing their studies at the graduate level and in professional art practice, a well-developed idea of a direction for their thesis exhibition, and an exceptional portfolio that demonstrates an advanced level of work in their area of interest.
The minimum period of residence is two years of full-time attendance at the University of Alberta.
