Neuroscience is one of the fastest growing areas of study in human physiology. Graduates of this program will have been given the opportunity to understand how the brain works to maintain human behaviour, what may go wrong in those neurobiological processes, and the ways that research and remediation may be undertaken within multi-disciplinary settings.

Graduates of the Master of Neuroscience may apply for admission to research higher degrees and other doctoral programs.

Course Aims

The Master of Neuroscience aims to provide students with the opportunity to study Neuroscience from a research or clinical perspective. The Master of Neuroscience will produce graduates with specialised knowledge of the specific neurobiological processes that underlie a range of behaviour.

Neuroscience is a diverse and rapidly growing field. With a postgraduate neuroscience qualification from UNE, your understanding of how the brain works, why behaviour occurs as it does, and how people may be helped to change, will give you an advantage in many fields of professional employment.

为来自中国的学生设计 To qualify for admission into UNE postgraduate programs you must have completed an educational qualification considered to be at least comparable to an Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) bachelor degree. English language requirements: An International English Language Testing System (IELTS) academic overall score of at least 6.0, with no sub-band less than 5.5. A Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of at least 213 in the computer-based test OR at least 79 in the internet-based test. You must receive a rating of no less than 22 in the written component. A Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE) minimum overall score of 57 with no skill less than 50.
