专业概况

在这里学什么？

Our students receive intensive training in applied and theoretical biostatistics, statistical inference, probability theory and statistical genetics. They apply these skills to the design and analysis of epidemiological investigations, evaluation studies and other public health challenges.

Professional opportunities for graduates exist in academia and research centers, private consulting firms and agencies of the federal government.

With courses scheduled in the late afternoons and early evenings, our programs allow students to attain valuable career experience while they earn their degrees.

The M.P.H. in biostatistics is a 45-credit program offered through GW’s Milken Institute School of Public Health. M.P.H. applicants should submit their application and supporting documents through SOPHAS.

为来自中国的学生设计 To be eligible for admission, applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Applicants who have earned their degrees outside of the US must hold degrees from institutions in compliance with their national standards. Academic IELTS: an overall band score of 6.0 with no individual score below 5.0; or TOEFL: 550 on paper-based or 80 on Internet-based test; or PTE Academic: 53.
