The physician assistant degree is a 24 or 36-month, full-time educational program divided into an academic and a clinical phase.

The academic, or didactic phase, of the program is 12 months in duration and consists of four components: basic sciences, behavioral sciences, clinical medicine and pre-clinical skills. The academic phase also includes patient experiences designed to enhance the student’s familiarity with the clinical environment. The dual M.P.H./M.S.H.S. plan requires one additional year of academic coursework specific to public health.

The clinical phase consists of a series of rotations in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings. Students participate in the care of patients under the supervision of a licensed health care provider. Required experiences include inpatient medicine, surgery, pediatrics, emergency medicine, behavioral medicine and an elective rotation.

为来自中国的学生设计 To be eligible for admission, applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Applicants who have earned their degrees outside of the US must hold degrees from institutions in compliance with their national standards. Academic IELTS: an overall band score of 6.0 with no individual score below 5.0; or TOEFL: 550 on paper-based or 80 on Internet-based test; or PTE Academic: 53.
