The School of Public Health offers a thesis-based degree of Master of Science (MSc) with several specializations.

A research-intensive, thesis-based master of science degree:

• emphasizes original research and research methodology,
• develops advanced research skills under the supervision of a professor,
• involves a mixture of coursework, research and an oral thesis defense.

The Program Sequence summarizes all of the degree requirements, including courses, professional development, ethics training, and thesis research. This Program Sequence is a suggested model for the timing of the degree requirements; the timing may differ by student, however, so final planning decisions should be discussed with your thesis supervisor.

为来自中国的学生设计 The Faculty's minimum admission requirements for the master's thesis and course-based programs are a four year baccalaureate degree, or its academic equivalent, in physical education, kinesiology, recreation or another related degree, with a minimum admission grade point average of 3.0 on most 4.0 grading systems or B on most letter grading systems, based on the most recent two years of full time study (or equivalent).
