在这里学什么？ It is a one year, full-time course which is taken as part of your four-year degree. You will still be treated as a full-time undergraduate student which means you will still be entitled to student finance support, will have the same entitlement to accommodation and have access to our wide range of student support.**Why study a Foundation Year at UWTSD Lampeter?**- Critically examines a range of worldwide social, economic, political, health and environmental factors which are shaping the 21st Century.- Explores challenges posed by conflict and humanitarian emergency in the framework of international institutions.- The Foundation Certificate provides an alternative route into higher education if you don't have the traditional qualifications or can't meet the entry requirements for an undergraduate degree. The International Development and Global Politics with Foundation Year degree combines the study of Development and Politics on a global scale with a focus on developing the skills, understanding, and capacities required to move seamlessly through your degree studies. - We take an immersive approach to learning offering a diverse range of teaching approaches, including lectures, seminars, tutorials and workshop sessions. - You will attend small-group classes with a focus on discussion and learning activities to encourage the self-development and critical reflection accepted as key to the development of personal and professional capacities.
