What will I study?
Courses include the application of engineering principles, the study of agricultural technology, and the integration of technology management concepts in the food and agricultural industry.
Other basic course work in the College of Agricultural Sciences ensures a solid background in agricultural sciences.
This, coupled with an in-depth look at how technology and technical management systems are applied in the agriculture and processing industry, prepares students to take on challenges faced in a wide variety of related careers in the operation and management of agricultural production, processing and handling systems.

Academic Requirements (grade point averages are on a 4.0 scale and are calculated by SIU): 26 credits or more at another college/university - submit college/university transcripts showing a GPA of 2.0 or greater on all coursework; 0-25 credits at another college/university - submit high school AND university/college transcripts showing 2.0 GPA on all coursework; 5 Passes on the GCE O or A level exams (under the Cambridge/ed excel model).
