WHY CHOOSE PSYCHOLOGY: PRE-PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT?
As a Psychology student, you will become skilled in understanding human behavior and functioning. You will learn the science of behavior change as a basis for promoting well-being and addressing the psychological and physical health goals of future patients.
WHAT ARE YOUR OPTIONS?
Psychology Pre-Physician Assistant 3+2: This highly accelerated and challenging program enables you to earn a Master's of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 5 years, rather than the traditional six. The 3+2 option in any program is not available to transfer students.
Psychology Pre-Physician Assistant 4+2: You can complete the Public Health major and all Physician Assistant pre-requisites in 4 years and apply to the SRU or other PA programs in the country.
CAREERS IN PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT STUDIES
Upon completion of the Psychology undergraduate program and the Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies program you will be well prepared to embark on your career as a Physician Assistant, a booming profession with increasing demand.

为来自中国的学生设计 International applicants who have not enrolled in any post secondary institution since graduating high school should apply as freshmen. Advanced standing may be considered for those students who have completed IB programs, GCE A-levels (advanced or advanced subsidiary) examinations. English language requirements: Applicants must score a minimum of 61 on the internet based test (iBT), a minimum of 500 on the written test or a minimum of a 173 on the computer based test.
