Overview

The University of Cincinnati's Master of Science in Nurse Midwifery online program prepares students to be primary care providers for women with specialty knowledge in sexual and reproductive health. Nurse midwives also care for people in labor and birth, provide sexual and reproductive health to people of all genders and can provide well newborn care in the first month of life.

Career

The Nurse Midwifery online master's program is ideal for registered nurses looking to deepen their understanding of primary care of women, reproductive health, antepartum care and attendance in labor and birth. Graduates will be eligible to sit for the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB) to become certified nurse midwives.

为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants must have: An active and unrestricted RN license; Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree conferred from a regionally and ACEN (formerly NLNAC) or CCNE accredited institution; Completion of an undergraduate statistics course with a grade of “C” or better; A minimum of one year of RN experience (preferably in labor and delivery).
